Appliance Recall Checks

What is an Appliance Recall Check?

An Appliance Recall Check is a service to identify recalled appliances in the home. By using the database search of existing Consumer Product Safety Commission appliance recalls, we can enter the Make, Model, and Serial numbers in list form, instead of customers searching for multitudes of individual recalls for each appliance online.

Some examples include:

  • Furnaces
  • Stoves
  • Dishwashers
  • Refrigerators
  • Washing and drying machines

How Does the Process Work?

Once we have the Make, Model, and Serial numbers, they are entered into the database. Within a couple days, a report will be sent containing information about the recalls. If there are any defects, the report will include:

  • nature of the recall
  • where product was sold
  • how to fix defect
  • how to get item repaired or replaced

The report will also include manufacturer details to get in contact with them, and what to do of they do not respond to the claim.
